Nice Try, Liberals, But Social Distancing Is Clearly Just Another Step Toward Full-Blown Socialism

Right-thinking, true Americans are on to you.

Still bitching about how many people are unable to go to the hospital.

Did you really think we were going to fall for this one, coronaflakes? You barely even bothered to disguise your latest pitiful effort to push the United States even further toward an unsustainable economic dystopia. “Social distancing”? Come on. Just call it what it obviously is: Pre-Socialism.

Too bad the clear-minded, right-thinking, true Americans who still believe in not just capitalism but democracy are on to you. And we’ve been on to you for years. Since the Roosevelt administration, at least, through Clinton and Obama, right up to these worrisome days of radicals like Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez, and this Anthony Fauci.

Pandemic or no pandemic, quarantine or no quarantine, face masks or no face masks, we’re not letting our guard down one bit. And a lot of us aren’t wearing face masks. Not because there are none to be bought anywhere, but because we won’t be silenced.

Just call it what it obviously is: Pre-Socialism.

Let’s look at the simple facts, shall we, socialist justice warriors? Every aspect of this farce was designed to distract the country from the unprecedented prosperity it was enjoying while at the same time planting the seeds of a political and economic theory of organization that advocates for the means of production, distribution, and exchange to be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. How pathetic.

First, schools were closed. Of course you started with the schools, because that’s where most Americans learn the values — historical and current — of capitalism. You couldn’t just arrange to have just the business schools shuttered, because that would have been a dead giveaway. So everything from K-12 and beyond was closed. Students nationwide are now being “homeschooled.” Fortunately, most American families have at least one complete Monopoly set at home.

Then large gatherings of people were made unlawful. Including religious congregations. Think about that: Religious services were outlawed. In a country where the population worships the almighty dollar. And sports seasons were cut short. Professional sports — the epitome of capitalism in the United States! Destroy the morale of the masses and you turn them to putty in your radical hands.

Then everyone was told to stay at least six feet apart. It could have been seven feet, It could have been five. Why six? Because three sixes make up the Number of the Beast, and socialism is a tool of the Devil himself.

Finally, all but “essential” business were required to allow employees to work from home… which led almost immediately to attempts on the part of minimum-wage-earners still on the job to unionize. SOCIALISM!

Let’s look at the simple facts, shall we, socialist justice warriors?

And even while all of these shameless socialist measures were being taken, right under our noses, what have socialists been complaining about? The lack of universal health care in the United States. It’s never enough for you, is it? Schools are closed. Churches and stadiums are empty. Weekly poker games have been suspended indefinitely. Uniquely American institutions like Amazon, Whole Foods, and something called Instacart have to deal with labor strikes. And you’re still bitching about how many people are unable to go to the hospital. The hospitals don’t have enough beds for everyone! How would it even help if everyone could go to the hospital?

God, just thinking about how this d̸e̸m̸o̸c̸r̸a̸t̸i̸c̸ ̸h̸o̸a̸x̸ situation has been twisted into a web of socialist propaganda and opportunism makes me feel sick. I’m tired of arguing about this, I’m hot with rage, and all this ranting has left me short of breath. But I’m a patriotic, red-blooded American with a very high deductible insurance plan, so I’m going to stay put, right here in my triple-mortgaged house. Anyway, this is just where I want to be when my federal stimulus check arrives in the mail.
